Illusions Rhythmic Gymnastics Club will be holding try-outs for our 2018-2019 Competitive Program on\u00a0Saturday, May 5th<\/sup>\u00a0at Bedford Hammonds Plains Community Center (community gym)<\/u><\/b>.<\/p>\n

If you are interested in having your daughter evaluated, please see the information below.\u00a0\u00a0Attending a competitive tryout does not guarantee your daughter will be selected to join the competitive Illusions program.<\/em><\/p>\n

ILLUSIONS COMPETITIVE TEAM \u2013 2018\/2019
\n<\/b>BRIGHT STARS, BLAZING STARS & TEAM CAPELLA<\/b><\/p>\n

Age, Dates and Times:<\/u><\/p>\n

Level 1:\u00a0 Girls born in 2012 & 2011
\n<\/b>Saturday, May 5th<\/sup>\u00a04:00-4:45pm.\u00a0 Mandatory Parent Meeting 4-4:30pm (Boardroom, 2nd<\/sup>\u00a0floor)<\/p>\n

Level 2:\u00a0 Girls born in 2010 & 2009

Level 3 & Level 4:\u00a0 Girls born in 2008, 2007, 2006

\u00a0<\/b>NOVICE, JUNIOR & SENIOR GROUP TRYOUTS<\/b><\/p>\n

Age, Dates and Times:<\/u><\/p>\n

Novice: 2009, 2008, 2007
\nJunior: 2006, 2005, 2004
\nSenior:\u00a0 2003+<\/p>\n

Tuesday, May 29th\u00a0\u00a0<\/sup>6:00-7:30pm.\u00a0*Mandatory Parent Meeting 6:00-6:45pm (Kitchen at WHC)<\/p>\n

Location: West Halifax Cheer – WHC<\/a><\/p>\n

Cost:<\/u><\/strong><\/h5>\n

$25 per athlete trying out,\u00a0paid in cash or cheque (payable to Illusions) at the beginning of the evaluation.\u00a0 Athletes will not be allowed to participate if not paid at the start of the tryout.<\/strong>\u00a0 Athletes only need to pay the try-out fee once.<\/strong><\/b><\/p>\n

*All registrations must be received by Monday, April 30th<\/sup><\/u><\/b>.<\/p>\n

Athlete placements will be emailed to families before the In-Person Registration Night (June 14).<\/p>\n

2018-2019 Competitive Programs
\n<\/strong>Athletes in the Illusions competitive program will be grouped by both ability level and age.<\/p>\n

BRIGHT STARS<\/strong>
\n– Group Only: 1 class\/week, 2hr class; Athletes born in 2012+
\n– Group & Individuals:\u00a0 2 classes\/week, 4 hours\/week; Athletes born in 2012+<\/p>\n

BLAZING STARS
\n<\/em><\/strong>– 3 classes\/week, 6-7 hours\/week; Athletes born in\u00a0<\/em>2012+<\/p>\n

NATIONAL GROUP (Novice, Junior & Senior)
\n<\/em><\/strong>– 4 classes\/week + independent conditioning, 10-11 hours\/week:\u00a0 Athletes born in 2009<\/em><\/p>\n
